Two single-parents who discovered -independent from each other in 2016- that we suffered from “empty nest syndrome”: our children have grown up living on their own, our parents have deceased.
So both decided to do something about that: They each followed a sailing course in Gibraltar. Stella then became a crew member on various sailboats in the Mediterranian Sea. Stefan bought his sailboat in Madagascar and sailed in East Africa.
Stefan and Stella met in 2019 in Saint Helena for the very first time and the two are sailing together since that time. You can read how they met here.
